Ludwig's Alder Pines Resort - Manitowish Waters Northwoods Cabins

Our private waterfront two and three bedroom housekeeping cabins are located on pristine Alder Lake in Vilas County, Wisconsin. Alder Lake is part of a chain of 10 lakes connected by navigable channels that provide over 4,200 acres of crystal waters for your enjoyment and exploration by boat, canoe and kayak.

For over 20 years Ludwig's Alder Pines Resort has been providing private waterfront cabins for those looking to escape to the North woods.

Our resort is situated on 325 feet of shoreline with a Northern exposure. The secluded alcove contains a private swimming area, and private docks. A gazebo, swing set, swim raft, canoe and kayaks are provided for our guests enjoyment.

With 4,200 acres of water, fishing is a main attraction of the Northwoods. Either by boat or from the end of our pier the variety of fish you may hook into range from muskie, walleye, bass, northern pike, and pan fish.

Our resort offers many opportunities for couples, families or friends to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing Northwoods Wisconsin vacation. We are open from May through October. We offer a two-bedroom and three-bedroom cabin, each with a spectacular view of Alder Lake.

A deposit of $150.00 is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due prior to departure. Payment needs to be via personal check or cash. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. Reservations are considered final upon confirmation.
